These guys are great. And the cost is so cheap!

I wish I had thought of asking them sooner. Opened a ticket

and got it fixed… no sweat!

If  you need a webhost, I suggest you use HostGator.

I updated Wordpress on my blog. I should have known better. I have learned from past experience that once you get everything working right on your computer or website, you will be tempted to update to the new shiney update. Then it never works like it did.

When I started Moneytalksmagazine.com, I was using static pages and updating with Adobe Dreamweaver and later Mircrosoft Expression Web. Going in with a little previous experience I stumbled through creating pages and links. Even created a links page in order to monetize the site without being obtrusive.

Then I picked up Roselyn Gardner’s course, “The Super Affiliate Handbook“. Very good course on Affiliate Marketing. Learned about using Wordpress to create easily content for your website. Already having Hostgator with Fantasico made it easy to do. I created a redirect from my index page to my new blog homepage. Everything is great. Coming into my www.moneytalksmagazine.com goes to the blog.

Then a few weeks ago, I noticed a link on the Wordpress Dashboard. Update to the new and improved Wordpress. I followed all the instructions and there was a new easy to use Dashboard. Great. Unfortunately the old static homepage is what you get at www.moneytalksmagazine.com . Ok, have been working to correct the redirects but nothing is working. Going to any link within my blog is ok, but not index/php .

So the struggle continues…
